Who says that plants are growing “up”?
Seems looking for some shade make them going “down”.

Dragons. Iguanas, ecological disaster as not native invasive species. It reminds me of Chengdu China while working with scientists specialist of mountains hazards, where debris flow, natural disaster, was associated to the mythical Dragon.

4am, something has fallen from the Venitian blind with a swish.
A little lizard, lagartija, jumps, runs, stops suddenly, and vanishes like a flash!

Malagueta, Bois d’Inde or Pimenta racemosa: a fabulous heady perfume in the leaves! Something close to a perfect mix of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus and pepper. I knew the peppercorns but not the tree and its fresh leaves.

Night. Gun and machine gun shots heard in the night. Jungle is in fact over there – not far. None-human beings loud at night kept silent for a moment.

Staying in the Botanical Garden, I made a walk around early in the morning. At the bend in the path to my amazement I came across Monet.

What comes first? “wild nature” or garden or landscape painting?

What is “wild nature”? What is a garden? What is landscape painting?

What is landscape?

What is exoticism?
